When you say you've underpaid, is that through your Bank Account in Sage or through your real life bank account?  If you can expand upon what's happened so far, that will help us to advise what needs to happen next.

Through business bank account

Thanks Julia, if this is outside of the software, I'd recommend checking with HMRC to see how they can receive the shortfall, and what they would prefer you to do.  You can contact HMRC VAT Enquiries here >
