I have to restore an error free backup to Sage 50 however even after disconnecting from Sage ID program will not allow me to restore backup due to ' backup is for different company'

One of my clients' Sage 50c has developed unfixable errors, this is not unusual and normally I can just restore an error free backup in client manager and push it out through remote data access, however this time the 'retrieve backup' button was greyed out.

I therefore closed the repair screen and went to file, restore and selected the last error free backup from my scheduled backups, I then tried to restore and got the message that ' this company is connected to your sage account, please disconnect the company first'.   I had to remove the company from remote access and bank feeds, then disconnect the company (don't usually have to do this to restore backup since v.28)

Having done all that I tried to restore the backup however then I got the message ' this company you are using is currently set up for Autoentry.

The backup you selected cannnot be restored because the data is from a different company'

I have disconnected Autoentry from the Sage company and still get the same message, I know for a fact that the backup is for the correct company, as for a start the backups name has the correct company name in the file name.

I have a VAT return to file by Tuesday so need to get this sorted asap.
