Checking Data Files

SOLVED

I've just upgraded to Sage50 Accounts Professional v29 and when I run check data this appears;

I've waited but the status doesn't change, when I click Cancel this appears;

Can anyone help to resolve this issue please?

    I had a similar problem when my Windwos crashed.

    A clear out of all my temporary files from C:\users\<my userid>\AppData\Local\Temp\ seemed to help.

    Any currently open and in use will refuse to be deleted - no problem just skip deleting them.

    The closed files are normally (>99.999999%) unneeded and can usually be recreated if necessary - you may be surprised how much junk is sitting there totally unnecessarily.
