In the last 24 hours, I have been trying to set up a consolidated company that has 6 subsidiary companies on Sage 50 Quantum version. After successful set up of the consolidated company, I now want to activate the reconsolidation button to consolidate the report, It is giving me an error message thus: "You must enter a user name and password combination that has financial statement access in the subsidiary company..". It then took me to the right button aspect that has subsidairy companies with user name and password activated. After inputting the correct username and passwords, it is still giving the same error. And I am sure i inputted the correct username and password. 

My question is: is there any seperate user name and password to enter for the subsidiary companies to access its financial statement other than the ones created at the set up user security menu that gives you access to the company? I have been trying this since yesterday but to no avail. The only option left is to create the subsidiary companies without any user name or password, in which case it allows me to consolidate the report without the error. This option is not viable as it means everyone can access the sage software data without need of password.

PLEASE CAN I DO? Anyone here has come across this problem before?
