When checking data before saving the following comments show:- Sales Order 33136 item 36 quantity is zero. Is there any way to remove these as there are approx. 600?

Have tried to delete a line which seemed to work but this will not save as a message comes up that there is an inactive item on the order which needs to be activated in order to save. 

Is there anything which can be done which will work? Many thanks for any help offered.
