I have just upgraded to V32 and all appeared fine EXCEPT - on ad-hoc occasions - when i exit a data set i receive a "Critical Error" message.
There doesn't *appear* to be any corrupted data but it IS VERY worrying!!??
Hi Kessie
Hope your problem has been resolved?
We have just upgraded to V32 and I got the same. I had to install 32bit software though.
We were advised to clear some older transactions to reduce our audit trail. its odd never had an issue before the upgrade.
it seems to be intermittent but was falling over when looking at bank activity.
just wondering how you have gotten on.
thanks
Fiona
Hi Fiona, as you say - it's intermittent and yes, it's still occurring. I can't see any particular regularity to it other than it happens (invariably but not every time) after i have just run a back-up. MORE than a tad stress-fueling!!
I am going to have to monitor our crashing issue here but so far so good this week. hope thing settle down for you.
Hi Kessie
I have now got the bottom of our issue with Sage crashing. I worked out that the "Sage Connected Services" was causing my pc to crash after using certain programs. I have switched this facility off and all seems fine for the moment. However I now get a message reminding me to switch it on! I called sage and this cannot be turned off.
I am a bit annoyed as I have contacted sage support multiple times about my system crashing and NOONE suggested switching this off. I sussed it out myself.
I was told that the next version 33, should fix the problems caused by Sage Connected Services, so they know there is a problem.
hope this helps
fiona
"Sage Connected Services" is an umbrella term covering multiple cloud based or cloud connected products/features. It would be good to try to understand where the problem lies. Which connected services did you have enabled?

Not sure what they could have been referring to here. There are no known issues with any connected services currently and nothing on the bugfix list for v33 that seems like it could be related. Without knowing more detail about the the cause of the issue, and which specific connected service could be implicated, it is impossible to say that v33 will correct the issue or not I'm afraid.
