Applying Credit Notes

Hi all,

its been a while since I used Sage as the company I came to has been using TAS Books.

I have credit notes I want to allocate so I can clear the balance totally from my reports can you remind me how I do this as I don't want any impact in my banking.

    As it is so easy to accidentally create a phantom receipt or payment (when the allocation is for less than the full amount), we have set up a specific "pseudo" bank account which is used for nothing but allocating invoices to credit notes/payments on account, etc.

    This "pseudo" bank account must always have a balance of £0.00; if it does not then a phantom transaction has been created and needs sorting out (deleting).
