WHY DOES A NOMINAL CODE SOMETIMES SHOW IN RED

Hi Desiree, Thanks for using Community Hub. Bank Accounts can appear in red in the Bank module, in Sage 50 Accounts, if the balance is below the minimum limit set in the bank account record. 
 Nominal codes would not normally appear in red, unless you have applied a colour setting in Tools > Options > Colours. If this helps, please click Verify Answer. Regards, Andy, Sage UKI
