Thanks for getting back to . I will tray and explain my problem , see attached bank reconciliation , I have reconciled to my bank statement to 31012025 78295.58 , without ticking transaction 27344 for  $3145 as it does not appear on my bank statement , but sage have included in the transaction giving a book balance 75150.45 which is 3145 ? Can you please help with my query ?

Hi Carmel,

The Book balance is like an activity up to the date you're reconciling to. In this case it's 75,150.45 which is short of the statement end balance of 78,295.58.  the difference does seem to be close to the transaction for 3,145 but there are two unmatched transactions for 3,145 one of which is presumably a correction there's a receipt and a payment.  The Book balance will include both of those transactions with net effect of zero. 

If the statement balance is correct and there isn't a missing transaction then it may be best to contact Sage Technical Support to look into this further.
