Claiming employment allowanceEmployment Allowance is an employer benefit that reduces your employer's NI liability. The allowance remains at £10,500 per year for the 2026/2027 tax year. With Employment Allowance, each time you run your payroll you pay less employer's Class 1 NI. This continues until you've used the full allowance for the tax year or the tax year ends, whichever is sooner. Note: The Eligible for Employment Allowance checkbox in your software is only available once you submit your application. |

P60s reminderAnyone employed by you on 5 April 2026 must receive a P60 by 31 May 2026. You do not need to provide a P60 for anyone who left your company on or before 4 April 2026. |
