Starters and leavers

It’s quick and easy to set up new employees with a new employee record.

You can also process leavers, issue a P45, and notify HMRC. Get help with starters and leavers.

Tip of the month - hide leavers

You can keep employee data for up to three years, which can clutter your employee list. Use Criteria to hide leavers and show them again if needed.

Correct a previous pay run

Mistakes happen, even with the best processes in place. Use the Rollback option to quickly correct a pay run and get back on track.

You can also review common processing errors and how to correct them.

P60 deadline reminder

Anyone employed on 5 April 2026 must receive a P60 by 31 May 2026. Employees who left before 5 April 2026 should receive a P45 instead.

Changes to statutory sick pay (SSP)

From 6 April 2026, SSP rules changed. Waiting days no longer apply, and employees earning below the Lower Earnings Limit (LEL) can now receive SSP.

Read our SSP FAQs to understand what’s changed and how if may affect your payroll.
