What is the correct way of entering a small salary advance deduction on a payslip?

 Thanks for using Sage City 
 I notice this query hasn't had a community response. 
 If the amount has already been advanced and you need to deduct it from the employees next net pay, set up a post tax post NI deduction and deduct the amount advanced with this. 
 If you'd like some help to create the deduction we've got a handy set up a deduction guide. When you create the deduction, leave the PAYE and NI checkboxes clear to set it as post/post.
