Apprenticeship Levy not updating on EPS

Hi

The process at month end I usually follow is:

process payroll/update it and send the fps. Then send the eps reporting the Apprenticeship Levy immediately afterwards. Then I write my journal and run the P32 report.  I was trying to reconcile my accounts and it appears that the eps is not updated for the new months apprenticeship levy when I send it to HMRC. Can you please confirm at what point the app levy is updated to the eps for reporting.

    Hi Susan,

    Thanks for your post.

    Your apprenticeship levy settings may have been reset by the recent software update if you’d previously customised them to split the threshold between companies, so it would be worth checking them in Company > Legislation > NI > Apprenticeship Levy Settings.

    Once you’ve processed period 1, if any apprenticeship levy is due, it should appear on the P32 and therefore the EPS. I’d recommend checking that the process date is set to the 5th to ensure everything for the period is picked up and included. The deadline for EPS for period 1 has passed now but month 2 should pick it up.

    If the problem persists, I recommend contacting Sage Technical Support so they can look into it further.
