If the pensionable hours box is ticked, it will be included in the pension report. If it shouldn't be included, clear the check box. If the payment should be included in the pension calculation, select the Pension APC check box.

Catherine W  - The NHS pensions module is a separate module that customers can subscribe to, if you don't subscribe to it, you won't have those options. We've recently made some updates to the module in the background which would explain the disparity between your version number and Andrea's.

Thanks Andy,  What is your recommendation in relation to calculating Pensionable hours, when an enhancement whilst should attract pension contributions should not be included when calculating pensionable hours worked . This does not give a true figure when trying to check that employees have not gone over the 165 hours per month for NHS Pensions?

If you're looking at paying an employee an amount that has pension deducted, but doesn't count towards pensionable hours, then on the pay element you would tick the normal pension options for main and pension AVC but not tick the option for pensionable hours. Again, this may be an area where it's best to confirm or seek guidance from the provider.
