Elements - Pensionable Hours

When setting up an element, there is a tick box for Pensionable Hours. Does this just relate to what will appear on a report as a Pensionable Hour?  For example we have enhancements for a Saturday. As this is not a whole unit, I do not want to include this when looking at how many hours are pensionable. Would I therefore untick this box. I still need the enhancement to attract Pension contributions but when I run a report not be included . Hope this makes sense.

    If you're looking at paying an employee an amount that has pension deducted, but doesn't count towards pensionable hours, then on the pay element you would tick the normal pension options for main and pension AVC but not tick the option for pensionable hours. Again, this may be an area where it's best to confirm or seek guidance from the provider.
