Clearing week1/month 1 flags

SUGGESTED

I have followed the year end instructions to clear the week 1/month 1 flags ready for the new year, 3 times so far today and even though it comes up saying successful they are still there.  I have been using sage for 22 years so have done this process quite a few times.  Does anyone know if this is an issue with the upgrade this year and if there is a fix for it?

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for using Sage City Slight smile

I notice this query has slipped through without a community response, sorry for the late reply but I thought I’d pop something back to you.

There is an issue we are aware of in 28.01.360 and some prior versions whereby week1 flags aren't cleared by global changes if the username logged in has a space or special character in it. If this is the case for your username, this will be the cause.
The workaround for this is to use the Manager username to clear flags if possible, or to edit your existing username to remove any spaces or special characters, then log back in and try again.

If your username has no spaces or special characters I'd advise that you:

    1. Run two repairs on the database of the company, then test clearing the flags again.
    2. Create a new username, log in with this then test again.
