Check an opening bank balance on a specific day

Hi, all. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how I find out what my bank balance was on a specific day. 
 I managed to do it once before but cannot for the life of me remember how I did it.

Hi Damian, 
 Thanks for using Community Hub. 
 You can see this information on the Nominal Activity report. 
 If you go to Reporting, then select more, then select the Nominal Activity Report. You can set the date you need, and select the bank account which will take you into the Detailed Activity. The balance will show on the right hand side next to each transaction for that date as a running total and well as the top and bottom of the report will show opening and closing balances.
