Directors Self-Assessment Fee

SOLVED

My 2 directors have been invoiced individually for their self-assessments from our accountant, the accountant has also invoiced the company (our yearly accountancy invoice) also, I have now been issued a credit which is fine but my directors wanted to be re-inburst for the payment they both made from their personal account rather than have a credit against the original invoice to the company, can I make a payment to them both from the company account to their personal account to cover this? If so, how do I go about showing it in the accounts?

The company wouldn't pay for the self assessments of the directors, it's a personal cost of theirs, not the company's.
Refunding the company payment for their SAs would be correct.

If the company wishes to reimburse the directors for the cost of the SAs it would be income from the company.

In short, if I understand this correctly, the directors need to pay for their own SAs.
