Project Codes

Question

We are a charity and use Project Codes to keep track of Grants received and spent. 
 Once a Grant is used up and the project completed, we want to keep their record but block any additional entries to the Project Code. How do I do this?

You can use analysis codes to track certain aspects but for the purposes of tracking grants we recommend using a ledger account for each grant read more here >

You can make the ledger account inactive once the grant is complete.
