lease car accounting start

Question

trying to set up lease car, looked at a link for "accounting" ( https://gb-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=222001000101316 ) but this doean't match accounting start 
 any help would be appreciated

Hi John,

Thanks for using Community Hub.

Whilst the article applies to Sage Accounting, the same principles would apply in Start. Instead of an other payment you can record it as money out through Banking. You can use the same split of nominal codes and VAT.
