I cannot believe that we really cannot process BIKs through Sage Business Cloud Payroll Open mouth

I don't want to run P11D from payroll, I just want to be able to add BIK payments to my payroll so our employees are paying their tax monthly.

    Hi Sam,

    You are correct, our UK Sage Business Cloud Payroll  doesn't currently support BIK.

    This is a feature we are planning to introduce, but it won't be in place anytime in the current tax year.

    Our desk based Sage 50 payroll does have this feature though.

    I am also a little dismayed by this, especially as HMRC will be making it mandatory from April 2026 and if we wanted to get ahead and voluntarily register prior to it being mandatory we have to upgrade (at extra expense) to Sage 50.

    There also doesn't seem to be any indication if this will be an option on Sage Business Cloud Payroll for when it does become mandatory.  If I knew that was going to be an option then i wouldn't upgrade now and wait till April 2026.

    I will be very annoyed if we end up paying more for Sage 50 and then they make it available on Sage Business Cloud Payroll at a later date.

    Hi Rosie,

    Thank you for using Community Hub.

    BIK support will be incorporated into the program in time for when it becomes mandatory in April 2026.

    Development work is currently in progress but I don't yet have a time for when it will be released.

    Thank you Nigel for the clarification.  I will wait to see what becomes available on Business Cloud Payroll.
