Pension Auto-Enrolment - Ireland for Part Time workers

Question

Is there any guide or direction relating to part time workers if they earn less than &euro;20,000 per annum are they exempt from Pension auto enrolment? Or are they assessed differently due to a shorter working time?

Auto-enrolment in Ireland is currently scheduled for January 2025, you can read more here: gov - Auto-enrolment (www.gov.ie)

Sage Payroll will be updated to reflect this in due course, but we don't currently have any further guidance.
