Sage Cloud Payroll Ireland, Enhanched Reporting Requirements

Solved

Hi,

I have been using using sage cloud payroll since January and have it linked to ROS.  All taxes etc. calculate perfectly every month, and the filing is automatically submitted to revenue.

I have only recently noticied that although the expenses relevant for EER are reported on the payslips etc. they have not been filed with revenue.  Only the actual salary amount has been filed with revenue, not the expenses.  I was under the impression that this information should also be sent via the software to revenue.  Is it not sent, or is there something that I need to do to have it submitted with payroll?

Thanks,

John

    Hi John,

    Thanks for using Community Hub.

If you have included the expenses in the employees salary it will come though to sage accounting as one recorded amount  paid to the employee.

If you wish to record the expense being paid out from sage accounting, then you would need to record a payment leaving the account for the expense.

    Hi,

Thank you for using the Community Hub.

Sage Business Cloud payroll is fully compliant with Revenues requirements. However, you do need to use the correct payment types to ensure that the reporting to Revenue works correctly. I have linked to the guide below.  If you have you used the correct payment types, but this has not been reported to Revenue you will need to contact us for further investigation.
