Dear Sage X3 Community,

We want to inform you about a critical compatibility issue related to the upcoming release of Google Chrome (Chromium) version 144.

During internal testing, we identified that Chromium 144 impacts certain action-menu buttons in Sage X3, making them unusable when running on Syracuse versions 12.22 and earlier.
This issue does not occur on Syracuse 12.23, where the interface works as expected. Hotfixes for maintained versions are currently in development, but upgrading Syracuse ensures immediate stability.

️ Affected Versions

• Syracuse 12.22 and prior → Action-menu buttons may stop working when using Chromium-based browsers 144
• Syracuse 12.23 and above → No issues observed during internal testing

 Recommended Actions

To avoid disruption and ensure business continuity, we recommend one of the following:

1. Review Chromium browser update policies
   If you must remain on your current Syracuse version:

   •  Check if your browser updates automatically in your environment.
   •  Consider disabling automatic updates to prevent Chrome 144 deployment.
   • ️ Important: Disabling updates may expose you to security risks. Please consult your IT/security teams before proceeding.

2. Use an alternative browser such as Firefox

3. If you are running Sage X3 2024R1 or later
   Upgrade Syracuse to version 12.23 for full compatibility.

 We are actively monitoring this situation and will release hotfixes for maintained Syracuse versions as soon as possible.
