As part of our ongoing free Security Administration Skills Training for Sage CRM, we recently ran two focused sessions aimed at helping administrators configure Sage CRM more efficiently and consistently.
These sessions looked at two key building blocks of user administration: Teams and User Templates. Both features play an important role in controlling access, streamlining user setup, and ensuring Sage CRM is configured in a way that reflects how your organisation actually works.
Creating and Using Teams
This session explored how teams are used in Sage CRM to group users, support workload distribution, and underpin areas such as task assignment, territory management, and security. We looked at practical examples of how teams can be structured to support sales, marketing, and customer service operations.
Creating and Using User Templates
User Templates help administrators create users quickly and consistently, whether users are added manually or imported in bulk. This session explained what user templates are, why they matter, and how they can be used to standardise security profiles, preferences, teams, and territories without locking administrators into rigid configurations.
Training Continues Next Week
The Security Administration training series continues next week with further sessions designed to help Sage CRM administrators build secure, scalable, and well structured systems.
