Sage CRM 2024 R2 was officially released to Sage operating companies on Friday, 4th October 2024. As part of this release, the Help Centre has been updated with the latest release notes, guides, and online help.
Please note: Sage CRM Ally (beta) was initially included in Sage CRM 2024 R1 but was not activated upon customer release. It has since been reactivated with the launch of Sage CRM 2024 R2 to enhance the in-product experience, allowing users to access help directly within the interface.
With the release of Sage CRM 2024 R2, Sage CRM Ally (beta) has also returned to the Help Centre. Powered by generative AI, Sage CRM Ally (beta) provides access to documentation for all currently supported software versions. To use the chatbot, simply click on the "Chat" link in the bottom-right corner of the page.

The documentation for Sage CRM 2024 R2 has changed to support the new features that have been added to enhance the user experience.
The User Guide and online help have been updated to include
- How to access and use Sage CRM Ally (beta) including how it can be controlled in the interface
- How to access the new Mail Merge Example Templates
- How to make use of the Mobile Interface Enhancements
The System Administration Guide has also been updated to include
- How the revised Mailchimp Integration works and which fields are synched
- How to enable Workflow for Quotes and Orders
- Improvements to instructions around Exchange Integration
The Developer Guide and Help has also been updated to include
- A description of the updates to the REST API
NOTE: The Release Notes will be provided in English, German, French, and Spanish but translated help and guides have been discontinued. This means that only English documentation is available with Sage CRM 2024 R2.
The Release Notes document over 30 issues and enhancements addressed in Sage CRM 2024 R2. New training material will added to the community and YouTube channel after the release of the product.
