Sage officially was released Sage CRM 2024 R2 on Friday, 4th October 2024. Each Sage operating company (OpCo) will decide when to roll out the new version in their region, so it’s a good time to start planning your upgrade.
Upgrading to Sage CRM 2024 R2
You can upgrade to Sage CRM 2024 R2 from the following versions:
- Sage CRM 2024 R1
- Sage CRM 2023 R2
- Sage CRM 2023 R1
- Sage CRM 2022 R2
- Sage CRM 2022 R1
Ensure you are upgrading from one of these listed versions, as other upgrade paths are neither tested nor supported.
Note: Support for Sage CRM 2021 R1 and R2 ended on 30th September 2024.
Upgrading from Older Versions of Sage CRM

Example Upgrade Path for Version 7.1 Users
If you are currently using Sage CRM version 7.1, you’ll need to follow a specific upgrade path:
- First, upgrade to version 7.2 using either SP1 or SP2.
- Next, upgrade directly to version 7.3 SP3 (no additional patches required). From 7.3 SP3, upgrade sequentially to:
- Sage CRM 2018 R3
- Sage CRM 2021 R2
- Sage CRM 2024 R1
- Finally, Sage CRM 2024 R2
