Sage CRM 2025 R2: A round up of articles about the new release

3 minute read time.

The Sage CRM 2025 R2 release forms part of Sage’s long-term commitment to Sage CRM as a strategic, modern and extensible CRM platform. Sage continues to invest in security, stability, integration and partner enablement, while also laying the foundations for innovation through initiatives such as Sage CRM Labs. The focus remains clear: to protect customer investment, reduce technical risk, and give partners the tools they need to extend Sage CRM in controlled and supportable ways.

Across 2025, Sage has concentrated on hardening the platform, modernising key integrations, and improving the supporting ecosystem of documentation, tooling and guidance. Sage CRM 2025 R2 reflects this approach. It is a measured and deliberate release that prioritises reliability, security and operational readiness, while continuing to unlock new extension capabilities through Labs components.

  • Hi Stanislas

The development team in Dublin are working to encourage the French team to reduce this delay.   I suggest you contact Sage France Support to request that they liaise with the Dublin R&D team to determine if the integration components from R2 can be provided as a manual implementation for your 2025 R1 environment.

  • Hi, it’s good to see that there are plans through 2030. This software is honestly one of the most powerful I’ve ever used.

    A few points to raise:

    • Office 365 synchronization is no longer working as it did before MS impersonation was removed.

    • The French R&D team, while very approachable, is consistently 1–2 months behind on new releases. In normal situations this might be manageable, but when we’re waiting for a fix that impacts all our customers, this delay is too significant.
