Platform and Technology Support in Sage CRM 2025 R2

Sage CRM 2025 R2, released in November 2025, continues our commitment to supporting modern platforms and database technologies while maintaining backwards compatibility with the key systems supported in Sage CRM 2025 R1. This release focuses on stability, continuity and infrastructure readiness, ensuring partners and customers can move forward confidently without needing to alter existing client or integration environments.

Updated SQL Server Compatibility

This release extends compatibility with the most recent Microsoft SQL Server cumulative updates. This keeps Sage CRM aligned with Microsoft’s latest performance, reliability and security enhancements, and ensures that organisations applying regular SQL Server updates can do so without concern.

Sage CRM 2025 R2 is primarily a continuity release. It provides a secure and predictable platform that makes it easier for IT teams to refresh or modernise infrastructure while keeping their Sage CRM deployment stable and supported.

Updates to Supported Platforms

There are changes to supported operating systems and browsers when compared with Sage CRM 2025 R1.

Newly supported mobile platforms include

  • Google Chrome for Android

  • Android 16

  • Android 15

and

  • Apple Safari for iOS

  • iOS 18.x

  • iOS 17.x

These updates apply to customers using the Sage CRM Mobile Theme on mobile phones and smaller devices, and the Desktop Theme on tablets.

Retired Platform Support

  • Windows 10 is no longer supported in Sage CRM 2025 R2.
Organisations still running Windows 10 will need to ensure that client machines and servers meet current system requirements.

Infrastructure Readiness

If your organisation is planning to adopt Windows Server 2025 or apply the latest SQL Server cumulative updates, Sage CRM 2025 R2 is fully prepared for these environments. This release ensures that customers can modernise infrastructure with confidence while maintaining a smooth and fully supported Sage CRM deployment.

  • I can confirm that Windows Server 2019 is not included in the list of supported platforms for Sage CRM 2025 R2. With this release we added support for Windows Server 2025 and, in line with our long established policy, we remain committed to testing and supporting Sage CRM on the two latest Windows Server platforms. This ensures that we can provide customers with a secure, predictable and fully validated environment.

We can only explicitly support platforms that have gone through our full test cycle. As Windows Server 2019 is no longer part of that test matrix, we cannot list it as a supported operating system for 2025 R2.

That said, the decision not to include Windows Server 2019 in our official support list does not imply that Sage CRM will not run on it. The Windows components that Sage CRM depends on are stable and unchanged within Windows Server 2019. For many customers CRM may continue to operate without issue on that platform, but we must be clear that we are unable to provide formal certification or guarantee behaviour on an environment we have not tested.

    I hope this helps.

  • Hello
Can you please confirm if Windows Server 2029 is no longer supported?
Many customers still have this system that has not yet reached the end of its life cycle.
    Thanks!
