Creating accurate and consistent quotations is central to many Sage CRM customers’ sales processes. For organisations that frequently build multi-line quotes or repeat similar solution bundles for different customers, re-creating these complex quotations every time can be slow and error-prone.
To address this, Sage CRM 2025 R2 introduces a new Sage CRM Labs component: Enable Quote Templates. This experimental, opt-in feature provides a powerful way to save complete quotations as reusable templates – dramatically simplifying quoting for repeatable products and services.
What Are Quote Templates?
The Enable Quote Templates Labs component allows users to:
1. Save a quote as a reusable template
From any existing quote, users can now click Save as Template. This stores the entire quotation – including all pricing, product lines and associated metadata – as a template that can be reused for other opportunities and customers.
Templates are stored globally, allowing collaboration across sales teams. They can also be:
• Renamed, to provide clarity,
• Deleted, if they are no longer needed,
• Maintained easily via a dedicated Quote Templates list screen.
2. Create a new quote from a template
Within an opportunity, users can now choose New Quote from Template. This opens a picker where the user selects an existing template. Sage CRM then creates a new quote pre-populated with:
• All the template’s line items
• Currency and pricing list (based on the opportunity context)
• Expiry and open dates
• Standard editable fields
The user can adjust details before saving, just as with any other quote.
This makes it extremely fast to generate customer-specific quotations based on standardised solution designs or repeating product bundles.

• No deduplication rules (future iterations may add this)
• Templates remain global to maximise reusability
• All template interactions follow the familiar Sage CRM user experience
