We want to provide an update on the planned release of Sage CRM 2026 R2.

The release date has been moved to Friday 23rd October 2026, four weeks later than originally planned. This change is to allow the development team additional time to complete work associated with the Java 11 upgrade included within the release.

The Java upgrade is an important part of the continuing work to modernise the Sage CRM technology stack and maintain a secure, reliable and supportable platform. Given the significance of this change, we have taken the decision to allow additional development and testing time rather than compromise on the quality of the final release.

Pre-release builds available from 28th September

For partners and developers who need to validate integrations, customisations and third-party solutions against Sage CRM 2026 R2, pre-release builds will be available from Monday 28th September 2026.

This means that integration testing can continue broadly in line with the original timetable, while the additional four weeks provide the Sage CRM development team with more time to complete the Java-related work and final release validation.

We strongly encourage partners with integrations, add-ons or significant customisations to make use of the pre-release builds and provide feedback through the usual channels.
