The Sage CRM Business Partner Advisory Council (BPAC) met on 18 March 2026 to review progress on the product roadmap, share partner feedback, and discuss upcoming development priorities. The session brought together partners and ISVs from across the global ecosystem to help validate strategy, identify opportunities, and ensure Sage CRM continues to deliver value for customers and partners alike.
Continued investment and long-term vision
A key message from the meeting was Sage’s ongoing commitment to Sage CRM. The product remains a strategically important and profitable part of the Sage portfolio, with a clear roadmap extending towards 2030 and beyond.
Discussions focused on Sage CRM’s role in strengthening ERP-led opportunities, its flexible deployment options, and its ability to serve as an integration hub through its metadata-driven architecture and REST API. Partners also heard about the continued focus on modernisation, user experience improvements, and innovation through automation and AI-enabled features.
Sage CRM 2026 R1 release reminder
Partners were reminded that Sage CRM 2026 R1 is scheduled for release on 27 March 2026. This release is positioned as a Security and Compatibility release, strengthening platform resilience, updating key third-party components, and ensuring alignment with modern infrastructure such as Microsoft SQL Server 2025 and Microsoft 365.

Looking ahead
The BPAC session also explored future innovation areas, including enhanced API capabilities, further user experience modernisation, and the planned introduction of an Enriched Semantic Schema to support new AI-driven scenarios and integration possibilities.
Feedback from recent partner events, including TPAC South Africa, highlighted growing interest in Sage CRM solutions and continued opportunities to position CRM as a key differentiator in ERP deals.
