Thank you to everyone who joined the latest Sage CRM Business Partner Advisory Council (BPAC) meeting on 19 November 2025. This session marked almost a full year since we introduced the new BPAC format, and it was one of our most wide-ranging and energising conversations yet.
Partners from across the globe joined us to hear the latest progress on Sage CRM development, product strategy, integrations and community initiatives. As always, BPAC remains a two-way forum: a place where partners shape our direction, share ideas and help ensure Sage CRM continues to meet the needs of customers around the world.
In case you missed it, or would like to revisit any part of the discussion, the full meeting recording is available below.
A Year of Momentum for Sage CRM
Jeff Richards opened the meeting by reflecting on a year of significant momentum for Sage CRM. From the strong presence at TPAC conferences across Asia, Africa and North America to the advances in product development and ecosystem engagement, Sage CRM continues to build visibility and confidence across the Sage community.
Key points included:
-
Sage’s continued commitment to Sage CRM, backed by a published five-year roadmap aligned with Sage 300.
-
A strategic push to work “like a start-up”, prioritising innovation, agility and rapid delivery of high-value improvements.
-
Clear, consistent messaging across global events on the strength, profitability and long-term future of Sage CRM.
-
Deepening collaboration with ISVs and partners to broaden integrations and accelerate development through Sage CRM Labs.
Sage CRM 2025 R2 – A Major Milestone
One of the main highlights was the update from Elizabeth Pienaar, who confirmed that Sage CRM 2025 R2 is now ready for internal release, with regional availability following shortly afterwards.
The centrepiece of this release is the completion of the move from Exchange Web Services to Microsoft Graph, enabling full Appointment, Contact and Task synchronisation for Exchange Online customers. Combined with significant security enhancements and a range of customer fixes, this release lays a strong foundation for the 2026 development cycle.
The meeting also saw the introduction of Sage CRM Labs, launching with two powerful new components:
-
Quote Templates – allowing complex, multi-line quotes to be saved and reused across customers and opportunities.
-
Webhooks – enabling real-time push notifications from Sage CRM to external systems.
Both features demonstrate the potential of Labs to deliver rapid, targeted innovation that complements the core product.
Integrations, ISVs and the Expanding CRM Ecosystem
A particular highlight of the meeting was a presentation from Zainab Salihi, showcasing the sophisticated Sage CRM + Sage Intacct integration developed by BAASS. This integration offers true bi-directional synchronisation of customers, contacts and transactional data, and reflects a growing wave of partner-led innovation across the ecosystem.
Jeff also outlined ongoing work to strengthen engagement with ISVs, expand marketplace listings and accelerate the delivery of high-value extensions and embedded capabilities.
TPAC Highlights and Community Engagement
Mich Martins (MWare) shared reflections on TPAC Asia and gave an early preview of TPAC South Africa 2026. TPAC continues to be a powerful platform for reinforcing Sage CRM’s value, connecting partners and driving the wider Sage ecosystem forward. The strong support from Sage leadership and the high level of partner collaboration were key themes.
Across Asia, Africa and beyond, there is a noticeable uplift in demand for Sage CRM and increased visibility of CRM-centric opportunities within the Sage product family.
Training and Resources
The meeting also highlighted newly released resources on the Sage Partner Hub, including:
-
“What’s New in Sage CRM 2025 R2”
-
Updated white papers for Sales, Marketing, Service and Back/Front Office integration
-
New free training courses, beginning with the refreshed Security Administration module
More resources and training updates will follow in early 2026.
