A growing community, strong momentum and renewed excitement around Sage CRM
The TPAC South Africa conference, held from 8 to 10 March at Glenburn Lodge and Spa in Muldersdrift, was the largest and most energetic TPAC event many of us have experienced to date. With more than 220 registered delegates and a vibrant exhibition floor featuring dozens of solution providers, the event clearly demonstrated the strength and continued growth of the Sage partner ecosystem across the region.
From the moment delegates arrived, there was a strong sense of momentum and optimism. The conference combined practical partner enablement with strategic discussion about the future of Sage solutions, creating a dynamic environment where ideas, innovation and commercial opportunities were shared openly. Networking sessions were lively, technical sessions were well attended, and the overall atmosphere reflected a community that is both expanding and evolving.

Increasing innovation around Sage CRM
One of the most noticeable developments at this year’s event was the growing number of independent software vendors building and promoting solutions that extend Sage CRM. Several exhibitors showcased dedicated CRM add-ons, while many others demonstrated integrated offerings spanning analytics, document management, service delivery, and industry-specific functionality.
This increase in Sage CRM-focused innovation highlights the important role CRM continues to play in enabling partners to deliver differentiated, end-to-end business solutions. It also reflects growing confidence in the platform’s extensibility and its ability to integrate with a wide range of Sage ERP products.
AI and future opportunity
Artificial Intelligence was a dominant theme throughout keynote presentations and breakout sessions. Discussions focused on how partners can harness emerging technologies to enhance customer engagement, streamline business processes and unlock new commercial value.
Within this broader conversation, Sage CRM was increasingly recognised as a strategic enabler, helping partners deliver richer customer insights and more connected digital experiences across accounting and operational systems.
A strong response to the Sage CRM keynote
It was a privilege to present a keynote session outlining the direction and future vision for Sage CRM. The session was very well attended and generated considerable interest among partners.
Rather than summarising the content here, I would encourage anyone who wants to hear more about the evolving roadmap and future opportunities around Sage CRM to experience the presentation directly at the next TPAC event!
Looking ahead to TPAC North America
If the energy and enthusiasm seen in South Africa are any indication, the upcoming TPAC North America conference, taking place from May 31 to June 2 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto, Canada, promises to be another exciting milestone for the Sage partner community.
Events like TPAC continue to play a vital role in bringing together partners, product teams and innovators from across the Sage ecosystem. They provide a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and gain first-hand insight into the technologies and strategies shaping the future of customer engagement solutions.
