In Sage CRM 2024 R1 and earlier when a system administrator selected to opt out of web analytics during installation, Sage CRM still tried to call the web analytics API. (CRMS-1590)

This issue is resolved in Sage CRM 2024 R2.

The following explains how manual changes may be made to prevent calls to the web analytics API.

During installation, the web analytics code is added to the file "logon.html" found in

%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Sage\CRM\CRM\WWWRoot\Img\Logon

e.g.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\CRM\WWWRoot\Img\Logon

Back up the logon.html file.

Open the logon.html file in a code editor.

Remove or comment out the code below and save your changes.

This applies to Sage CRM stand-alone and when integrated with Sage accounting products. Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 200, Sage 1000, Sage 300, Sage X3 and Sage Intacct.
