Sage CRM 2025 R2 marks an important step forward in maintaining the highest levels of system security and performance. As part of our ongoing product modernization program, we have made the decision to deprecate the Classic Dashboard feature.

What is changing?

The Classic Dashboard is a legacy feature that has been retained for customers upgrading from older versions of Sage CRM. From Sage CRM 2025 R2, the feature will be formally deprecated. This means that while it remains available in existing systems, it is no longer being enhanced or maintained and may pose potential security vulnerabilities if left active.

Why is this change being made?

Our security review identified potential vulnerabilities in the legacy dashboard framework. These issues stem from older components that are not aligned with current web security standards. Continuing to support these outdated elements would limit our ability to ensure compliance with modern security practices and protect customer data.

When will the feature be removed?

The Classic Dashboard will be removed completely in Sage CRM 2026 R1.

Customers and partners should plan now to migrate all users to the modern Dashboard.

What should customers do?

If you are currently using the Classic Dashboard:

Begin reviewing and replicating key dashboards using the modern Dashboard feature.

Train users on creating and customizing dashboards with the new interface.
