I would like to exclude "Inactive" companies from QuickFind.

I tried several things with no luck.

Updating SQL queries in C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\Services\QuickFind\Templates\instance\conf\data-config.xml  is not working as C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\CRM\QuickFind\instance\conf\data-config.xml is not taking the changes in account. Even after deleting the directory and restarting the QuickFind service.

I understand that the final config file is built from metadata and not from the template file.

Is there a way to achieve this ?
