Given that the QuickCal component doesn't fulfil all of the functions performed by the integration, do you have any target dates when we can expect the patches to re-enable this?
We are also still seeing issues on our internal environment after creating a new App Reg and applying the permissions we can populate and save the exchange integration settings but can not get any of the mailboxes to connect and see the below in the logs which we have raised with support if anyone has seen this?

Did 'the patch to fix the patch' solve this problem for you? I've got the latest patch and I can now create a connection but I am getting the Invalid credentials error message.
It did for us, but you have to reauthorise users, you can see my reply on this post which is the same subject.

Basically I had to remote users onto the server, access CRM over localhost/crm (as the user) and get them to reconfirm their emails accounts (whilst Sync was disabled)
