Sage CRM API – High CPU Usage with 10+ Requests/Sec

Hi everyone,

Our developers noticed that the Sage CRM API struggles with more than 10 requests per second. When we exceed this, CPU usage jumps over 95%, and the server eventually crashes.

Even with simple API requests, the issue happens. Without API calls, the CPU usage stays low. The server is dedicated to Sage CRM, with nothing else running.

Is this a normal API limit, or could it be something in our setup? Has anyone else faced this issue?

Any advice would be appreciated!

    Please can you log this with your local Sage team.  I think this may need to be investigated further.

    We use the API internally so I don't know why you should be hitting an issue.    I have blogged about general REST performance tips before but I suspect your team will have seen these.
