Total Sales Team Actual vs Target Sales

Hello Community,

Is there a way to create a dashboard widget that calculates the total actual vs. target sales for an entire sales team, rather than just individual performance?

The head of sales division wants to closely monitor which sales teams are lagging behind so they can address any issues proactively.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    The key thing here is the target side of things - where to hold this value, plus is the target a yearly or monthly?

    You could edit the second level entity called 'Channel' in order to give it a numeric field which you could use for target figure, otherwise I tend to create a custom entity (speak to your business partner) called 'Target' and this simple record then allows me to provide it with a year value (as targets this year might be different to next year) and in some cases 12 fields for the months.

    Then in reports, the source view calls on this entity as well as whatever it is the target is for (e.g. opportunities, or orders etc).
