Sage CRM Person Type

I'm trying to find out how to export Person data from Sage CRM with the Person Type, which appears as a list of checkboxes in the person record. However, it only shows up when I edit a record and not on the summary screen. I can't seem to find out where this is configured in CRM or even how to edit it if we need to change the options. Can someone point me in the right direction of this data?

    Hi Tesler32

    These labels (along with Phone, Email Address, Address Types) are all controlled in 'Translations' if you do a search on Caption Family you will find them

    They all start with link_ Then after that you have few letters to the entity and a few more for the type of field e.g.

    link_CompAddr

    _CompAddr = Company Address Type
    _CompEmai = Company Email Addresses (note: Business is needed as a code for integrations, though Caption can be changed)
    _CompPers = Person Type tick boxes
    _CompPhon = Company Phone Numbers (note: Business and Fax are needed as codes for integrations, though captions can be changed)

    _PersAddr = Person Address Type
    _PersEmai = Person Email Addresses (note: Business is needed as a code for integrations, though Caption can be changed)
    _PersPhon = PersPhone Numbers (note: Business, Fax and Mobile are needed as codes for integrations, though captions can be changed)
    _PersEmail_Comp & _PersPhon_Comp = The codes must match their _PersEmai / _PersPhon but these ones appear on the 'New Company' screen for the person

    If you want to report out of CRM, i.e. direct SQL access, the information is what ends up in the EmailLink, AddressLink, PersonLink and PhoneLink tables where you will see a link to the main record (e.g. Person) and then the other record (e.g. Phone) and what their 'Type' is.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for the great detail. I can’t believe it is this complex of a setup but that is a Sage thing I guess. Either way that gets me enough to get the data out of the database. I appreciate you.
