When will the possibility for OAuth 2.0 as authentication method for the Restfull API be available in Sage CRM

With the current versions of Sage CRM the only way to authenticate to the RESTFul API is with Basic Authentication.
When looking in the future roadmap in Roadmap - The Future there is no mentioning of implementing OAuth2 within the REST API.
For a few years OAuth2 is a kind of standard for authenticate to REST API's.

When will OAuth2 become available for authenticate to the RESTFUL API?

    OAuth 2.0 authentication for the Sage CRM REST API is not currently scheduled for a specific release.

    We are actively reviewing authentication modernisation across the Sage CRM platform, including API access. However, this work needs to be delivered in close alignment with wider Sage identity, Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication initiatives across Sage products. This ensures that we maintain compatibility with Sage accounting integrations and provide a consistent and supported experience for customers.

    As a result, any move to OAuth-based API authentication will form part of a broader, coordinated security and identity strategy rather than being introduced as a standalone change.
