Gamifying Customer Tracking in Sage CRM Inspired by Letter Boxed

Suggested

Hi everyone,

I’ve been exploring ways to make customer interaction tracking in Sage CRM more engaging for our team, and I got inspired by a word game called Letter Boxed online (from the NYT). The game challenges players to connect letters on the edges of a square to form words without repeating letters — it’s all about strategy, connection, and thinking ahead.

It made me think: what if we applied a similar “puzzle” mindset to logging customer interactions? For example:

  • Connecting touchpoints efficiently: Ensuring every email, call, or meeting is linked to the right contact — like connecting letters in Letter Boxed to form a valid word.
  • Avoiding duplicate entries: Just like you can’t reuse letters, team members shouldn’t log the same interaction twice under different records.
  • Optimizing workflows: Strategically planning next steps based on previous interactions, similar to planning the next word in the puzzle.

I’m curious if anyone has tried gamifying CRM tasks in Sage, or using creative frameworks like Letter Boxed to make data entry and interaction tracking more intuitive. Could this approach improve accuracy, team engagement, and the “flow” of managing multiple customer touchpoints?

Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences with innovative ways to keep CRM interactions organized while keeping the team motivated.

Best regards,
