The Sage CRM installation program has an option to add demo data to the CRM database. Over time, this demo data may become outdated. Suppose you have created demo data specific to a particular customer or customisation. In that case, this too may become outdated, and a significant amount of work may be involved in keeping it relevant.
This component adds a utility to the Administration screens that eliminates the need to reinstall Sage CRM to obtain fresh demo data.
The System Administrator can select a new anchor date, and the main data tables will have their dates reset accordingly against this new date. Any custom entities and new date fields will also be included in the move.
