Download file: Replacement eWareEmailManager.exe file for customers impacted by CRMS-1879
In Sage CRM 2023 R2, when Email Management is configured to use HTTP rather than HTTPS, the following error may be written to the logs:
"Exception connecting to Mail Server: Error connecting with SSL."
We have resolved this error by making changes to the “eWareEmailManager.exe” file.
The new eWareEmailManager.exe fixes the customer issue CRMS-1879.
Note: By default, Sage CRM is installed to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Sage\CRM\. e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\
Customers are advised to replace the existing “eWareEmailManager.exe” file in the %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Sage\CRM\Services folder with the “eWareEmailManager.exe” file supplied here.
- Download and unzip the file.
- Navigate to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Sage\CRM\Services
- Replace the existing “eWareEmailManager.exe” file with the new version.
- You may need to restart your server to ensure the fix is applied.
This issue is resolved in Sage CRM 2024 R2.
This applies to Sage CRM stand-alone and when integrated with Sage accounting products. Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 200, Sage 1000, Sage 300, Sage X3 and Sage Intacct.
