SDA SSO

Hello,

We are currently exploring a configuration that would allow SDA to function as a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution. Our goal is to enable users to access and view dashboards directly through a shared link without being required to sign in separately to SDA.

Could you please provide guidance on how to configure SSO to support this use case? Any documentation or recommended configuration steps would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Paul,

    To allow users to access SDA dashboards from within the Sage X3 dashboard without receiving a second authentication prompt, both Sage X3 and SDA must participate in a common SSO configuration and trust the same identity provider. If users are currently being prompted to sign in when opening the SDA dashboard, this typically indicates that SDA is not receiving a valid authenticated session or token from the identity provider.
    We recommend confirming the authentication method configured for both X3 and SDA, and whether SAML/OIDC SSO has been implemented. Additional review of the SDA authentication configuration may be required to determine why the user's X3 session is not being recognized by SDA.
