Subscriptions and notifications

notifications icon  Subscribe to group digests

Group digests are email summaries that keep you up to date with the latest activity in a group. Instead of checking in every day, you'll get a regular snapshot of:

  • New questions and replies 
  • Popular or trending topics
  • Posts you might have missed

You can manage how often you receive digests - daily, weekly, or not at all.

From the group home page

  1. Select Subscribe in the right column.
  2. Choose your frequency Not subscribed, Daily, or Weekly.
  3. Select Save to confirm your selection.

From your settings

  1. Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Go to the Email Digests tab.
  4. Adjust the frequency for each group using the dropdown menu.
  5. Select Save to confirm your changes.

Forum subscriptions let you stay in the loop by sending you notifications when there's new activity in the areas of Community Hub you care about the most.

When you subscribe to a forum - like a specific product group, you'll get alerts about:

  • New questions or discussions
  • Replies to existing threads
  • Updates from Sage or other members

From the forum page

  1. Go to the group where the forum is.
  2. Select the forum.
  3. Click either Subscribe or Unsubscribe.

From your settings

  1. Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose Settings then go to the Subscriptions tab.
  3. Select Subscribe or Unsubscribe next to any forum or blog.
  4. Select Save to confirm your changes.

  1. Go to the group where the blog post is.
  2. Select the blog you want to manage.
  3. Select Turn blog notifications on to subscribe.
  4. Select Turn blog notifications off to unsubscribe.

  1. Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose Settings then go to the Options tab.
  3. To disable all emails, clear the Enable email contact checkbox.
  4. To enable HTML emails, select the HTML email checkbox.
  5. To allow private messages, choose No one, Friends only, or Everyone.
  6. To appear in search results, select the Include in search checkbox.

  1. Go to the Notifications tab in your settings.
  2. Review the sections for:
    • Activity from subscriptions
    • Activity from your network
    • Activity related to content you write
  3. Select or clear each checkbox to enable or disable alerts.
  4. Click Save to confirm your changes.
