You would need to have one person that could be the primary user in charge of starting it up daily.  If possible, you should also have a couple of backup users that can do it when the primary is out.

Another option, depending on how many Sage user seats you have, is to have a user running on the server with EZ import open.

I don't know of a way to automate that function.  All of my clients turn on EZ Import as a desktop task each morning and turn it off when they leave for the day.  You can open a support case with Endpoint AS (Scanco)  to see if there are other options.  Or email Chris Williams <[email protected]> the Business Development Manager; he may be able to get you the answer of any available options.

We have managed to automate the EZ import jobs  for (IM, PO, SO and PM), even though we remain on an older verison of Sage and Scanco. There are ways to schedule restarts of the job and also to automate batch postings.
