Daily Transaction Register Hangs

I have two clients that are experiencing random issues with the DTR hanging. It shows the progress bar and the green bar just keeps going. If I kill the task, I can go to the Daily Transaction Register on the Main Menu and it runs fine with no error. Both clients are Sage 100 Advanced and use paperless office. One is 2021 and the other is 2022. So far it only happens to one user in each company and has happened in AP and AR.

There's nothing new in the kb. Has anyone seen this recently and figured out what's causing it?

  • I know this is an older post but figured to add my experience in case anyone else is still in the same boat.

    I just upgraded my users to Windows 11 from Windows 10 and immediately started having this same issue however we are still on Sage 100 2020 Premium due to various other projects and concerns.  I contacted Sage support and they referenced the 64bit version in 2021+ and suggested rolling back to Win10 or upgrading Sage.  In an act of desperation, I set the Sage application to run in Compatibility Mode for Windows 8 and it appears that so far it has alleviated the issue.
