We have just started using General Ledger -> Recurring Journal Entry and we created an entry with a start date of 3/1/24 and a stop date of 12/1/24 and posted this new entry in a test company.
However, looking in General Ledger -> Account Maintenance for both the debit and credit account numbers used, it is only showing one entry for each on 3/1/24.
We are trying to figure out why it would not show additional postings for both during 4/1/24, 5/1/24, 6/1/24, etc. all the way up through 12/1/14.
Our Select Cycle field for this entry is set to MO for month but I know that's just the two characters needed in order to create a cycle and we can type any characters there.
Is there somewhere else within Sage that we would define the select cycle, i.e. MO to be a month or quarter or year, etc.?
Or do we perhaps need to create a separate recurring journal entry for each month? That does not seem right though if that is the case, would just defeat the purpose of doing this in the first place tbh.
